2007 Chesapeake Bay Rally - need address & emails

    Hey folks,

We had our first official rally meeting this morning. We've got some nice events planned & a new idea or two if we can work it out. One is a very unique idea so lets hope legistically we can...

Mark Huseman is creating a website for info & registration on it & will be talking that up soon. To help keep people reminded to get in registrations I'll be sending out some reminders via USPS mail too. We have a lot of address from last year, & I assume most of them are still current, but there are some new folks out there & hopefully some unknown Crownies that will stumble across this site along the way.

To make sure we don't miss anyone, please email me under separate cover your home address & email address. If you want to include anything else like your cell or home phone #'s that would be great too. My email address is tervurenowner@comcast.net

    Thanks,

    Greg

6 months from today we should all be in Port Deposit getting wet and getting drunk.  Just remember Tony - real boaters don't sleep at a Bed and Breakfast at a boat rally!

Bill, where will you be keeping the new boat?  You getting a trailer?

    John,

I'll be keeping the same wet slip at Long Beach Marina.  I love it there.  I don't believe in trailering a boat.  If I had to do all that work just to get it in the water, I'd never use it.  I guess it would be nice to take to other places but I really like the marina atmosphere.  we just hang out on the boat at the marina with the neighbors and a cooler of beer.  There's a nice pool there, volleyball, horseshoes, new bathhouse...  You can't do that at a high and dry and I can't afford a waterfront home like you rich folks in AA County!

Cool.  We were up that way a couple of times last summer.  It looks like a nice place.  Hell, now that you have the 250 you can pretty much go anywhere on the bay.   Hope to see you guys down our way this summer.   We're going to try to make the St Michaels run in May.  Can't wait till this damn cold weather is gone.  C'mon spring

I hope the ice melts before the rally John.  I could easily walk across my pool right now.  My heat pump can't keep up and it's 61 degrees in my house right now.  I don't suppose any of the Crownies on here are HVAC technicians are they?!

Damn, that's tough. We had to replace one of our units earlier this year.  But when it this cold the damn heat pumps suck.  Luckily we have propane backup on our main unit so when the temps get this cold the propane kicks in and there's actually warm air coming out of the ducts.  I we had to count on the electric auxiliary it'd be like trying to heat the house with a toaster.  Hopefully this crap will be over soon.

Thanks Tony.  I wish they didn't live in PA.  Do they still have the boat?  I never see them on here.

    Bill,

If you think the cold & 61 degrees in the house sucks, just wait till next month when we get the BG&E bills.

     THAT will suck...
