2008 National Crowndezvous

The 2008 National Crowndezvous will be held June 18 – 22, 2008 on beautiful Table Rock Lake in Southwest Missouri. Table Rock has been the site of several of the largest National Crowndezvous ever held. Don’t miss out on being part of the 2008 Crowndezvous, which promises to be even bigger and better.

 

The 2008 Crowndezvous land activities will be at or near Kimberling Inn Resort which is in Kimberling City, MO. The announcement of rally events will be made at a later date, but now is the time to make your plans! There will be people making a full week out of the rally so even if  events aren’t planned early in the week, there will be plenty to do and Crownies to do it with.  . 

Make your reservations for lodging now before all the rooms and boat slips are taken. The Kimberling City area is very popular and fills fast even when Crownies aren’t taking over their town and lake!  The following is a list of resorts that are located in the area.

If you are staying at a resort or campground that does not have boat slips available for you, call What’s Up Dock and reserve a slip. They are very conveniently located by land and water to all the resorts and rally events. Their number is 417-739-4511 or visit their site at www.mypok.com/store/index.php   What’s Up Dock does close for the winter so make your reservation for a slip now.  The boat slips at Kimberling Inn and What’s Up Dock will go quickly so make your reservations now!

Yaaaay!  KI motel room and slip for us.  I just happend to win a drawing at the Splash last year that will come in handy!  We are coming in early on Thursday and leaving on Monday.

Everybody must be pretty excited as Kimberling Inn tells us they were swamped this morning.  They still have condos and motel rooms available and a few boat slips.  If you think you might be attending, you ought to get something reserved. 

When Kimberling Inn or any of the other resorts are out of slips, reserve one at What's Up Dock.  Some people prefer their docks anyway since they sit back in nice calm water. 

One note too, since the National is being held at Table Rock next year, there will not be a Summer Splash in July so keep that in mind.  This will be THE rally at Table Rock next summer.

Just got my room at the Kimberling Inn, Kings View Room(Lake View) and a Slip (now there are only 3 left)! Can't wait to see you all again in June. This will be my second National and I know it will be twice as much fun as last years, if thats possible. Whoo Hooo
