Hey Mike and Ryan, here's the recipe for Apple Pie.....

You oughta try this....Apple Pie.
I got this recipe off midwestboatparty and tried it. It's killer!!


Here it goes.
1.5 gallons of apple cider
3 cinnamon sticks
bring to a boil

3 cups of white sugar
1 cup of brown sugar
stir slowly until dissolved

This is an important step
Take the pot off the heat and let cool. This takes about a 12 pack of beer. So when the beer is gone then proceed with great caution.

SLOWLY add the 1 liter of EVERCLEAR to the pot.(if you do this when the cider is to hot ... then the everclaer will boil out!!!)

The last step is to put it in containers. For the Liquid jungle i bought 20 oz water bottles, emptied the water and "poof" pie bombs that are boat friendly.

I agree Linda.  The biggest problem I have at these things is that no matter how hard you try, it's impossible to get together with everyone.  I love Deerfield but it's so spread out.  Cumberland was great last year with most people down on the houseboats.  That was cool.  I really felt kind of empty that we didn't get to hang out.  Sorry about that.

From all the pictures I have seen it looks like everyone had a great time.  I had some fun during the planning, and other times when you think "what the heck was I thinking agreeing to do this!!".  I know Ryan and I traded a few thousand emails regarding the rally, he and Brad did a great job.  Too bad I could not go to take part in all of it, but with Nancy on bed rest at home it would have been impossible.  I hope to make next year!!

We're tossing around the idea of going back to Norris next year since we really didn't get to enjoy the lake that much.  So if we don't go to Tablerock or wherever the next rally is going to be, then we'll probably head back to Norris.

Brad, Ryan and the wives did a great job.  Me and my wife had a wonderful time.  Being it was our first time, all I have heard it was better than the last.  I cant wait tell the next.  Thanks to all that put it on.
