    Mark,

Debbie and I might try to meet you.  We like the idea of going right to Lloyd's Creek instead of going to Port Deposit and then back to Lloyd's Creek.

    Scott,

It looks like many of the boats are going Thursday directly to Lloyd's Creek on the Sassafrass instead of going all the way to Tomes on Thursday morning.  Looking at the agenda, it does not look like the raft up starts at noon.  We will probably plan to be at the no-wake line on Middle River at 10am and go up with Mark, Tony.  Tony will probably go WOT and we will be brining up the rear.

Henry I'm going to be running between 3-3500 on the way up...Now the no-wake is moved back since it's a week day right? So far coming from the south we have Jamie Dee, Blond Ambition & Scott. On Middle River we have 2 Conseated, Diamonds, Capt Ron, Impulsive, Festivus,. Coming from the east we have Never Enough and Strong. Coming from Tome's we have 2 yutes, Liberty Call, and Phil.... Does everyone remember where this is? Phil was there last year

Tony, I've got the raftup spot marked in my GPS from last year and we're ok getting there.   John M should be getting to Tomes round the same time we do.   I'm waiting to hear from Phil to see what time he plans on getting to Tomes.  We can lead the way for whoever else shows up at Tomes.  What time do you figure you mid bay guys will be getting to Lloyds?

    Henry,

That's what we did this weekend.  Pulled the chain out of the windlass and are going manual.  Funny thing is when we pulled the chain free and rotated the windlass it kicked over for a bit then stopped again.  Sounds like a dead spot on the windings, but don't think that was covered under the warranty.  Called Tomes to see if they would have time to look at it Thursday when we get up there, but haven't heard back from them.  Going to carry the new one up with us and see what happens.  I looked at the wiring this weekend.  Even pulled the interior apart to find the wiring, but the new windlass has 4 wires and the old one has only 2 so I'm not sure which wires to splice.  If Tomes can look at it we'll head up to the marina, if they can't we'll look for everyone in the Sassafrass (John you got those coords?).

Re: Crownvoy from Magothy area to rally

for the GPS idiots like my self as you enter the Frass from Tome's with the boat in the center of the river  head towards 1:30-2:00 you will see some tall dirt cliffs on the south shore head towards them and the entrance is up against the cliffs. Lloyds entrance is tight and there is a skinny patch of land seperating it from the Sasafrass

We should be getting to Lloyds around 11-11:30....it takes alittle less than an hour from the no wake in Middle River

All right now i've got GPS and a visual, we'll give you all a hail on 68. Smile How long does it take to get to Lloyds Creek from Tomes?  We might be heading there first for a repair.  Hopefully get to Tomes a little early and follow Liberty Call over to the raft up.Party!!!

It's about 20 miles from Tomes.  I hope to get to Tomes around 11 at the latest so we can all meet up there and head over.

Mark H.- I thought I knew where we were meeting until Tony confused me with the observation that we're leaving on a Thursday so there isn't a Middle River no-wake zone.  I thought you meant the line of markers just east of Frog Mortar Creek.  Is that right?  10 a.m. Thursday sounds good to me.

John, It will be later in the afternoon before we arrive at Tome's. For us to get to Port Deposit and splashed by 11AM means we would be towing in the DC morning traffic. I've done it once but I rather avoid it.

If we get in earlier than anticipated, we still have Lloyds Creek on the GPS from last year.

Phil - there's a simple solution.  Load up the night before and set your alarm for 2:30 am.

Bill you are correct.  The markers about 1/2 mile in from the mouth of the river.
