I was shooting for the 1st week of April, but it looks like I will probably have to keep it in storage this upcoming season Sad. However I do have good news, I've expedited Mark's 340CR production and will be sea trialing it for him all season Stick out tongue. And, he's picking up all expenses...what a guy!

Greg - do I read your post right?  You going to simply store the new boat all season???

I was just making a joke about sea trialing/cruising Mark's new 340CR for the summer Big Smile

I'm paying my March storage fee tomorrow and will be trailering the 240 home/getting her ready at the end of March Yes

    Re: Projected Launch Dates??

Thanks, Henry.  I'm hoping it doesn't come to that.  We've got to get a dock guy over to check on the piling that's sinking so maybe we can work something out with him.  Big problem is that the lift has to come out to repair/replace the piling. So it'll be a major pain in the a$$.  We're hoping to get one more season with it like it is.  Maybe I'll just get a couple of guys with twin engines to back in and just blow the damn thing out.  Stick out tongue.

Whatever happens with the dock/lift, the boat's going in the water.  Luckily the ramp is just a block away so even if we can't use the dock for awhile we can still put in every weekend.

We're shooting for the first week of April.  I just hope I'll have enough water to get her on and off the lift.  No luck with a dredge permit so lets hope for southerly winds and high water all summer.Wink

John - any northerlies that would let us have a mud moving party?  If we are in town, I have boots and a shovel.

Thanks, Henry.  I'm hoping it doesn't come to that.  The wind over the last 2 days has really blown out our area, but I ain't goin out there with a shovel in 18 degree weather.

It is one of the nicest boats I've seen.  As long as you don't look at the $400.00 gas bill to run it down to the Inner Harbor & back that is.

It's all relative...my 275 went through $230 in gas to go to St Michael's and back to Tome's. Affording a boat is not just the payments anymore

Not when it costs a thousand bucks just to have the thing winterized. Then land storage over the winter, slip for the summer, another grand for insurance and PRAY nothing breaks. I had a guy tell me you can count on almost double the price to do anything just because it is an inboard and there is NO ROOM to work.

OH...don't forget it burns $100 and hour in gas Crying

    You're right Tony....it's a little more than a payment!
