    Randy,

Can you give a quick update on Shasta - water levels and smoke conditions? We're heading to Antlers on the 29th of June for two weeks. We usually go to Oroville but the water levels there are lower than they usually are at the end of summer so we opted for Shasta. Thanks.

Water level is about 50 feet lower than this time last year and going down about a foot a day.  http://cdec.water.ca.gov/cgi-progs/queryDaily?SHA     Antlers Marina is going to need to move to Sugarloaf in about a week.  They are hoping to make it through July 4th before they do.  Not sure if they will make it. This would be a hardship if you are slipping your boat at the marina.  You can call them and ask the status. You'll need to drive about 5 miles to the Sugarloaf to get to your boat. Also the Antlers state ramp is closed so you'll need to launch and pull your boat at Sugarloaf also.  It is a bit smoky there now due to the fires.  We were there during the t-storms.

We spent most of our time in the O'Brian area.  Still lots of water there.

Check out this page for lots of Shasta info:
