    Cabin fever

Que Pasa mi Crownadores? It's April fifth and it is snowing in Spokane. We might break the snowfall record. This morning I shot six holes in my freezer.Well I guess I will get ready to go snowboarding tomorrow.Atleast the lakes will have enough water if Summer ever gets here.Hope to hear from the crownies in Florida who boat all year. That always raises my spirits.Happy Holidays,Hom Ping through the snow.Indifferent

    Hom,

I have been bouncing off of the walls as well.  We finally had some 60's weather yesterday.  We fell 11" short of breaking our snow fall record.  We had one really rainy day and the forecaster said that if it had been 4 degrees colder we would have had 14" of snow.  That would have broke our record.

    Come on Spring.

Same here in Oregon, but as you said, the lakes should be full for the summer.  We still get out of town (in the motorhome) for one weekend a month, just not with the boat.  Hopefully soon, we'll be At Lake Shasta for two weeks in early June....we are soooo ready.......

    Re: Cabin fever

Hey,For info on water temps you can go to a website called "sandpoint online".The recreation links will get you to the navy weather station with lake conditions.Sandpoint is in Northern Idaho and on Lake Pend Oreille. The lake has an interesting history. There is a navy sub recearch base at the southern end.The lake is over 1000 feet deep in some places.I have mistakenly read my depth gauge as 82.5 feet but after a second look it was really 825 feet. For some reason It is a little freaky diving into 825 feet of water.Yesterday 4/25 I was working at a lake house on Spirit lake, about 30 miles south of Sandpoint, and hey,it started to snow.Anyway the way things work up here one of these weeks it will be 40 one day and 80 the next. Then everyone will complain that it is too hot.Hom Ping
