    Finally, a spring fling itenerary

Hey all, hope you had a great memorial day weekend. Sorry to hear Saint Louis got pretty much washed out! Anyway, Sorry so late in getting this out here but better late than never I guess.

We thought we might change things a little this year!
Friday evening we will be doing a cookout at the dock with burgers, dogs and chips. The piza joint is under new management that does not wish to cooperate with us this year.
Saturday evening we'll be having  a fried chicken dinner with all the fixins. This will be at  the top of the ramp, by the "Playground" at Skyline.  No need to bring anything except yourselves, chairs and beverage of choice.

Saturday there will not be breakfast like we have done the last few years, as the restaurant has changed hands and we
could not get the same deal. Saturday afternoon We'll do our tie up down in Linn Creek cove. This cove is just across from Captain Ron's if anyone feels like checking the joint out. This is the bar that the Lake Rescue Shoot-Out wil be based out of this year. Linn Creek is also the cove that The Fish Co. is located in.

For the poker run, we thought we might pull cards for the hands at the dinner (instead of
running all over the lake with the gas prices the way they are!) for the people registered
to try their luck.  We will gladly accept last minute entries if this format changes any minds. We will have cash prizes for the winners with the best and the worst hands.

     Sound good to everyone?

Pleae feel free to post any thoughts you may have, as we all know these are pretty laid back and made so memorable by the people not the activities!!

Terri & I can't wait to see everyone, so keep your PHinzz up, and be ready to have fun!!!!

Sounds great - now we just need to make a dedication or offering to the weather gods - I will pour one miller light and one coors light off the back deck tonight and then drink my fine BUD LIGHT!  Beer

Re: Finally, a spring fling itenerary

Joe, Deb and I won't be making it this year, we've got her parents coming down this weekend.  But...I noticed the mention of Captain Ron's and Linn Creek.  The Fish is in Linn Creek but Captain Ron's is up the Osage Arm a couple of miles, past the Hurricane Deck bridge on the right hand side ascending.  It's not far up but it's not in Linn Creek...just don't want you guys getting lost.

Have a safe weekend and we'll see most everyone in a few weeks at Table Rock.

The way I see it, they forecasted fantastic weather for this past weekend and we all saw how that worked out.  If they forecast marginal weather, we should end up with some of the best weather ever!!!  But I'll make the sacrifice as well, just to be safe.

Joe Pam the crew and I will be down around 4.  Let me know if you need any help, I'm happy to help.

My frig won't let any of that skunk beer ( coors miller etc.) in it.  It opens up  the door and spits it out.

Re: Finally, a spring fling itenerary

It has been brought to my attention that I did not give any times for dinners. If my memory serves my, this is not a given, we usually try to have chow ready around 6:00.  We can discuss a time for the tie up Friday evening, but I was kind of thinking we could meet in front of the Skyline cove around 11:00 - 11:30.

One more day,  WOO Paradise HOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Finally, a spring fling itenerary

We'll be getting down there on Saturday afternoon (staying at Skyline until Monday) and will meet up with everyone as soon as we can.  Probably be in the water by 2 pm.  We're looking forward to meeting everyone.
