    Matching Moonstone for Speakers

Hello, new to the forum, with a question I couldn't find anywhere on here yet.

I am upgrading my stereo which includes adding a pair of speakers to the bow. My problem is the grills on the Alpine speakers I ordered are silver and I would like to try to spray them with something to match the Moonstone gel coat. Anyone ever done this or found a particular brand/color of spray paint that is the same?

Not sure you need to . .

    AND welcome aboard!

If you decide to paint them, make sure you use paint that will work with plastic.

My speaker grilles came black and I just painted them with a rustoleum rattle can white--close enough especially since they are mounted down lower.  Looks fine to me.  Only other way would be to go to an automotive place that supplies mixed paint for body shops to match it any closer to the moonstone and spray it with one of those aerosol units with a jar mounted to it--I think Pre-Val was the brand name of the do-it yourself sprayer without getting into an air compressor type sprayer.

Yep, you should be able to find something close in a rattle can (spray) paint.  Maybe you should paint them red to match youe accent color........
