    Walk thru windshield needs adjusting

I have a 1995 BR202 and the walk thru windshield aligns fine at the bottom end but is off by at least ½” at the top. Is there any way of adjusting this?

    Thanks

    Mario,

Along the bottom edge of the windshield frame is a rubber piece that can be removed easily. Just start at one end and pull it out. When removed, the phillips head screws which mount the windshield frame to the fiberglass are exposed. Check to see if the screws have loosened up allowing the windshield to shift. If not, loosen the screws and shift the windshield to adjust.

There is also a flat rubber/foam piece that is between the windshield frame and fiberglass which could have deteriorated due to age. This could also be part of your problem.

Re: Walk thru windshield needs adjusting

Thank you for the information I looked at the screws as you said and they are not loose, actually I can really get at the screws because of the fiber glass that is over the screw head holes, but the window does seem tight. I then took a look windshield brace and noticed that if I removed the windshield brace that it closes up the space. Could the windshield have spread some how causing it to have such a space at the top of the walk thru and not the bottom? Should I try and remove the braces and purchase shorter ones? Thanks for your help.
