Bill,

 Do you ever make it down to LeClaire, 2nd weekend in August for Tug Fest? If you haven't done that you really should. It is the only tug across the river that I know of. They shut the river down for three hours and it really is amazing. This year I beleive it is August 11th. I am hoping the Gateway rally isn't the same date. You should head down to Pool 14 for tug fest. I would like to hit the gateway rally, it sounds like a lot of fun, too.

  I have not been to the tugfest. I have heard that it is a great time and it usually makes the local news channels. I don't recall who has the most wins but as long as everybody has fun it is great. I will be there this year for sure.

So is this going to happen?  Given where we are in the year and people's plans I'm thinking not, but figured I would ask to make sure.  Perhaps an impromptu run to Hannibal would be in order instead?  Just curious.
