    Re: 2008 National Rally

Hi All - I called and made reservations last week for Table Rock.  We're staying at Cedar Wood resort, heading down Monday night and staying until the following Sunday.  got a boat slip too.  Cedar Wood is back in the same cove with Kinberling Inn.  Follow the cove back past the no wake boeys and stay to the right.  Cedar wood is about at the end.  Really nice place and reasonably priced for their little cottages.  I remember in 2005 I had a blast seeing all the boats.  Can't wait for it to come around again.

Hey Chrs, Well if you mean towing the boat, no. I haven't had it out for a few weeks. But just me, it could have been, I'm all over Wichita. I'm glad to here you guys are going. We had a great time last summer.

    Re: 2008 National Rally

Hi all - sorry I haven't replied back sooner, been busy lately with projects in the shop and around the home.

For Rick Klaus - I have stayed at Cedar Wood before, back during the '05 Rally.  I really liked it, reasonably priced, clean little cottages, and they were back in that same cove, but in the no wake zone, so our boats didn't get banged up from the waves.  He's got a gravel ramp into the lake - not too steep, but I was able to get in and out OK.  Best thing in the world to have a slip.  Makes it so nice to walk down in the morning and fire up the boat to break the calm.  When I called down to CedarWood for next year, they've redone their pool and have it a lot nicer from what he said.  Heck, I thought it was pretty nice as it was when I was there in 2005.  It's no Tan Tara, but for the rates under $100 a night, the place was clean, everything worked, and had parking for our toys.

Ed Gabel - good to hear from ya.  Can't wait to see the KC gang again on the water.  It'll be awsome if we can all find each other on the water and run together.

I gotta get my boat out on the water atleast one more time.  I've been so busy lately with other things, haven't had time to wipe the dust off the boat after our Labor Day trip to Mark Twain Lake.

Talk to ya all later - Chris
