November 4th, high of 78, sunny, light chop on the water.
We hit Williams Park at 1030ish this morning. Tide was in. We had some friends with for thier first boating trip on our boat. Got the boat in the water with no issues.
Headed over to St Pete pier. The ride over was smooth as butter and we used the new dock and pay courtesy slips. $1 an hour is hard to beat. Hopped on the free trolley to the Pier. The ladies did some wine tasting while the guys checked out the sports and movie memoribila store. Then up to the 5th floor for lunch with a great view of Tampa Bay.
After eating lunch and walking around the pier to watch the fishermen we headed back to the boat. Had a cocktail and listened to the Bucs game but it was a little warm in the sun with not much of a breeze. We headed out to the other side of the pier and anchored out where the breeze cooled things off and we listened to the game until halftime. Then pulled anchor and headed home. The cold north winds picked up so it was a little choppy but still a nice ride.
Even with the cooler temps it was still a nice day. Not a cloud in the sky and I didn't sweat my toes off washing the boat.
Gotta love Florida!!
