I go to Brookville Lake in Indiana. Very nice lake, bigger than Ceaser Creek. They have a very nice Campgrounds. Go to indiana dnr. It would take you about 2 1/2 hrs to get there from columbus. It is south of Richmond,  Indiana

We're east of Columbus in Pataskala/Granville area. We like SaltFork or Alum for local lakes. Been to Caesar and Brookville both nice but Norris is our favorite I'd have to say. If you see us on a lake stop and say hello and we'll try and do same--come on summer!!

    Re: Columbus, Ohio anyone?

Hello, my wife and I live in Westerville, about 5 minutes from the launch ramp at Alum Creek. We have a 2006 LPX solid ruby red 21 classic. We have been to Norris and Cumberland in the past, and plan on making it down to Norris this summer for a week. We have a condo on Grand lake St. Mary in Celina, with the dock about 25 yards from the front door. Unfortunately, due to my work schedule etc., we are going to sell it. Grand Lake is quiet and peacful, only 2 hrs from Columbus. Hope to see some more Crownies out there this summer. Happy New Year!!

    Re: Columbus, Ohio anyone?

I'm from Hillsboro. I frequent Rocky Fork, Ceasers Creek, Lake Michigan (and connecting lakes) are my favorite.

I have met several Crownies just by pulling up alongside and start talking boats.

    Re: Columbus, Ohio anyone?

    Hello,

WE have never been on the "River", but have recently crossed over it near Powell. Is there a speed limit, and how far down does it go (total lenght you can boat on?).Do they allow Sea Doo's? It;s close, so thought I might give it a try. Thanks.

    Re: Columbus, Ohio anyone?

it's "ok". you are safe to boat from the glick rd dam to home road. you are fine as far as speed goes. we were just out there a couple of fridays ago for our first outing in our boat. fell in love with the boat and was quickly reminded how dirty/muddy the water is on the river. our next trip will be to alum or deleware.
