    Hi everyone,

I assume there is plenty of pull through parking (or a wide open lot) at the hotel for all these boats?

    See you all this evening!

    Hey All,

We made it home around 12:30 our time.  Traffic wasn't bad and we only seen about 6 deer grazing by the side of the road.  Those animals make me very nervous when you are pulling a boat at 60MPH and there are standing by the side of the road staring into your headlights going DUH should I step INTO the light?  I was lucky and none of them did.  Hope everyone else made it back safe and without any problems.

    Don,

Thanks once again you were able to pull off another GREAT LOOP CRUISE.  See everyone again next year.

Thanks Don for pulling it off yet again.  Proves it's the people that make the trip what it is.

We had a great day and can't wait to do it again.

Definitely worth moving it from Sat to Sunday in spite of losing some folks because of time/travel constraints.

Whats up with some folks not filling the tank prior to a 60 mile trip??? Sheesh.

Farmer tan - Sunburn on my hands - Arms still pretty much white.

Based on the forklift it took to get me out of bed Monday morning, I am painfully aware that I'm not 25 anymore.

Did Bill Burns make it up the lake or did he turn around?  I was concerned when he didn't show at DuSable.

I'll take whatever those crazy girls on "No Stress" were having.   They got beads!

Treena and I had a good time, and meet a lot of new people. Thanks Don for your hard work. Definetly worth the trip. Thanks to Jimmy K and Donnie for letting us tag along. Sure made the trip home go alot faster.

Hope to do it again next year!

Yes Paul, I made it to the lake and all the way. By the time I got to Dusable everyone was just about gone, so I went thru the lock and headed back to the ramps. We had a great time but the lake kicked the cr@p out of me. LOL. Thanks for wondering about me. I ran across the lake with Justin Lupinno. See yah on the water.

    Re: 2008 Chicago Loop Cruise?

It has taken me a few days to recover and attend to the other aspects of life that I tend to ignore before and during this event.  I'll try to get together an "epilogue" message in the next few days to cover closing details.

It was a great day, that's for sure!

    Re: 2008 Chicago Loop Cruise?

Glad we ran the CLC last weekend... this would have been our normal weekend, and temps are only forecasted to be in the 50's today, and 40's for the next few days!!!
