    Re: Who's boating

No boating.  Heading out to the GF's parents place for that weekend.  The weather has been crappy and we have usually been there 2 weekends by this time of year.  We give them a hand getting things cleaned up, picked up, and ready to go for the season.  I see there's a pretty fair group from MWBP heading to Shelbyville that weekend.  I hope the weather cooperates for everyone.

    Re: Who's boating

    Monte,

We got the boat out of storage on the 2nd and we were boating on Geneva Lake on Sunday the 4th, it was an awesome day.  We probably won't get back on the water until next weekend.  I am going to my mom's tonight for the weekend.

    Hope to see everyone soon.

    Re: Who's boating

I've put about 8 hours on already, now that the boat stays in its own slip i can just go out for a while after work or whatever and no more towing, in, out, in, out....... Although the weather has been pretty crappy

We plan to hit the Mighty Mo'.  My wife and a few of her friends from work want to hit the Anchor Inn for some band that's playing that weekend

    Re: Who's boating

Hello from Mississippi River People, Kathy Runge. We are having problems getting out on the old river due to very high water and lots of junk floating down river that I would prefer not to hit. It was looking pretty good with the slow ice and snow melt, but has turned into crap with the rainy spring. Having lots of time for yard work, yuck!!! Would so much rather be in the boat on the water. Looking into trailering down to Kentucky Lake, looks pretty cool down there and wait out the river to get back to normal. Would be fun to stop on our way down and visit the Crownline factory. Good luck getting out on the water. Q.C. area is high!!! And going up and down, very slowly. Best wishes, Kathy Runge

    Re: Who's boating

We plan on spending three straight days on the water this weekend.  Usually it's sitting on a life jacket with a cold beverage but the water temp might change the usual this season.  I'm hoping the powerplant warms the water enough to swim comfortably.
