    New Memeber

My wife and I have owned our Crownline 182 for six years now and do most of our boating on Long Lake in Maine. I am just now getting around to joining this forum, and wanted to say Hi to all that are out there.

Crownline makes a great boat, and we have been very happy with it. She is being fitted out with new sunbrella as I write.

Welcome aboard, Glen.  If you ever get the adventure bug and feel like a trip down to the chesapeake, give us a holler.  We've got a great bunch down here and we out just about every weekend somewhere on the bay.

    Hi Glen

Welcome to the forum what took you so long to join.I was surprised to see that you boat long lake ! I have a place up in Harrison myself and the crownline has been in a slip at Harrison Marina for years.225 LPX .I was up there a few weeks ago and saw 2 things that shocked me 1st Matt at New England Boat didn't have any crownline boats out front some other brand? 2nd the marina had to rebuild main part of dock after the winter hope this doesn't delay things. Where do you keep your boat ? Looks like i will tow up the boat by memorial day or before. We will have to hook up this summer.

    Re: New Memeber

    Hi Dana,

I was hoping that I might connect with someone that boats on Long Lake. I was born and raised in Harrison. My wife and I live in the village, and our red/white crownline (s/v Our Down Time) is on a mooring in Harrison Pines.

Harrison Marina docks are all rebuilt and in. Boats in slips already. The other issue that we have had is high water. I haven't even put my mooring out yet, or my docks, but the lake is coming down slowly.

Yes, I was dissapointed when I discovered that NEB no longer carries the crownline brand. Rumor has it that they wanted a lesser value boat that would sell more volume.

We spend a lot of our time at the Salmon Point sandbar, anchored and grilling.

I'm sure we will see you.
