We're new members from Oklahoma.  We've got a yellow and white 2004 Crownline -- I think it's a 220.  Sorry.....I know the color, how to hook up the ski ropes and that the stereo works -- I leave all the official stuff to my husband!  I've posted a couple of places trying to find an answer to a question so I'll try here too!  What's the best way for a lab to get in and out of the boat on her own while we're anchored in the lake?  Can dogs make it onto extended swim platforms without help or is there some kind of ladder that makes things a little easier?  Any info is greatly appreciated! We don't have a particular lake home at this time.  Just bought the boat last year and spent time on Texoma -- when it wasn't flooded!  I grew up on Lake Eufaula in eastern Oklahoma so we'll probably be there alot this summer.  If you see three blond curly-headed kids and a big brown dog, pull up and say Hi! - Gina

Gina, welcome to team Crownline and the forum. Check out Overton's they have an item called a Doggy Boat Ladder that I think a few members of this forum have for their dogs

Welcome Gina! I agree with Dennis. A lab will require some help getting onto the extended swim platform. I have seen the doggie ladder and it should work well for you.

We have an extended swim platform from Swimplatforms.com.  Our Lab is six years young, a female.  We just give her a little pull up on her life vest and out she comes.  We have a 225 lpx.  We spend most of our time on Tenkiller and Skiatook, because it is so clear and we love to do a lot of tubing.  We live in Tulsa so one is real close and the other is 1 1/2 hour away.

Thanks to everyone for the suggestions on dog transport and for the hearty welcomes!  I'm sure we'll get ol' Sadie in the boat a bit easier this summer. I look forward to visiting here again soon and hope to see some of you on the water.
