    Blue Angels Air Show

Anyone else going to be out for the Naval Graduation air show?  We're planning on being out on the 20th for the practice run.  Supposed to be from 1100 - 1300 and then again 1400 - 1500.

    Re: Blue Angels Air Show

Can't make the Annapolis practice 'cause I'm taking Friday off  for the Mem weekend.  But, in case anyone wants to see the whole Blue Angels show, the Joint Service Open House Air Show is this weekend at Andrews AFB.  There's a DOD day tomorrow (16th) for military, retirees, and DOD personnel only.  Then Sat and Sun it's open to the public.  Parking is at FEDEX Field and they shuttle you to the base.

If you're in to things military, you won't find a better show anywhere.  In addition to aeral demos all day (concluding with the Blue Angels show), there are static displays from every service, all open for you to climb on, walk through, play with etc.  If anyone want's info, check this link

We had such a bad time on the water last year, we're going to the air show this Sunday and will skip the water view.

    Jay,

You need a beer!  Every post from you seems to be something bad.  I hope things start looking up for you.

    Re: Blue Angels Air Show

Henry and Scott, I think beer is the answer!  We just had a rough outing last year with some idiots that made it suck.  Don't worry.  I'll be on the water again in a couple days and will sound cheery as the sun!  :-)

    Cappy,

We've been to so many of the shows at AAFB I don't have enought fingers & toes to count.   I know the story line as well as the guy that does the narrating, but we'll be back again on Sunday.

Too good of a show to pass up, & the price is right.

You got that right, Greg.  We've been to air shows all over the world and the one at Andrews is our favorite.  We're lucky that we can go to the Friday show so we miss the big crowds but even with the crowds it's still worth it.  Hope the weather holds out for you.  Have fun.
