    Hey guys (and gals!),

Had a great time.  Glad we could at least make one overnite.  Quite an impressive flurry of activity when 7/10th's was preparing to get underway - just need to get that horn fixed.  Does not measure up to the vessel.

Hope everyone made it home safely.  Great seeing everyone and could not have asked for a better weekend.  Until next time - save those pennies for ga$.

    Frank,

What's wrong with my horn?   At least it works!  I just put a new compressor in.  What should it sound like?

The grandson said the boat looks like an "old man's boat" except it needs to be covered in seagull poop!

we made  it out on Sunday, but decided against the run down.  My sister had her 4 week old with us, plus she is only 4 weeks post c-section, so we didn't want to beat her up to bad.  Glad to hear that all went well.  We just spent the day anchored back by baltimore yacht club, letting the little ones do some fishing.

Re: Memorial Day on the Magothy - who's coming

What a weekend!Cool.    Those of you who couldn't make it missed a pretty interesting weekend.  Henry's zip code coming in and anchoring at our regular Eagle Cove spot (in about 3 1/2 feet of water) got the attention of everyone at the anchorage.  And seeing the floating time zone with a half dozen or more Crown's tied up to it was a sight to behold.  Figuring out how to get rafted up to that behemoth isn't an easy task!

No slipping anchors this year either.  The Crowns were acting like a sea anchor for Henry while the dinks from just about every boat in the anchorage circled  7/10's for closer look at least once a day.  Looked like remorra around a shark (or better yet a whale).

Another first:  Scott and Kathy on Tiggers Tail coming in without the full canvas upSurprise.  We almost didn't recognize them.   The Karaoke boat that was anchored a few hundred yards from us kept us entertained on Sat night and the umbrella drinks kept us entertained on Sunday.

We also had more practice playing "musical boats" when Crown Jewel got rafted to 7/10's, Jaime Dee left, Mommy Diamond came in, Too Conseated came in, Lost Hillbilly came in, Mommy's Diamond left, Moon Jelly Came in, Liberty Call left, etc etc etc.  We're getting real good at re-arranging a raft up.

Special thanks to Henry and Debbie for opening up your "home" to us and for the guided tours.  As impressive as it looks in the pictures, it's even more so up close and personal.  (and thanks for the "gift".  I'm sure the grandkid and friends will have me spending $$$$ in gas pulling them all over the Mag).

All in all another outstanding Crownie weekend with beautiful weather and great friends.  Wish a few more of you guys could have made it, but the season's just starting so I'm sure well see everyone at one time or another somewhere around the Bay.   We're ready to do it again so name the time and place and we'll be there.

Re: Memorial Day on the Magothy - who's coming

We had a great time and it was nice seeing everyone again. We ended up going to Red Eyes for lunch on Monday after we left you guys. They were under staffed and by the time we ate and got more gas it was after 3...... than the ride from hell, it wasn't so much the white caps but the rollers were giving a fit. So besides the $290 I spent for gas, the spilled 20oz espresso coffe stain in my cabin.....not from you Cappy that one came out this was from my sister and the 2 hour ride from Red Eyes back to Tome's with 2ft caps and 4 ft rollers I had a pretty good time

Patrol crews have gone way downhill...

Closing the gap as we leave.  Can't even tell we were there!

Awesome time out on the water again!  I'm glad to be back out there!
