    Post Spring Fling

We're just getting settled in from a great weekend down in the Ozarks.  Thanks to Joe, Terri, Ed, and anyone else who had a hand in putting this weekend together.  This was my first trip down to Lake of the Ozarks in several years and the very first time for my wife.  We all enjoyed the lake, the people, and winning a few dollars from my poker hand didn't hurt any either :)  Our only wish was that we could have stayed longer.

For those of you who stayed today, sorry we didn't come by and purchase a few rounds with our poker winnings, but I did offer up my bow cover to the lake gods this morning to hopefully grant you good weather today.  That brings up another point, which I'll post in another thread, but any body know of any good canvas shops in St. Louis?

Hopefully everyone makes it home safely!!!

    Take care,
    John, Ann and Nate

    Re: Post Spring Fling

We too had a great time as always! Seeing all you crazy people at the spring fling is one of the highlights of our year.

Each year we tend to meet several new people at these things and this year was no different. To Big Boat Bill - great to meet you and wow you have one nice boat (I love the new red). Ed and Lisa - we look to see you out on the river with us sometime - you have no excuse living so close to it. Ketih K (or KK as Joe would have it) glad you made it down to the big lake with us and hope to see you again at the National? I know there were other I did not get to talk with as much - but hope everyone can make it again next year.

I also liked the itinerary for this year - food was great - kudos to Joe and Terri!

To the usuals - we had a great time and look forward to the next time we are all hangin on the water again! Several notes - Hope you got your ugly hat back and never wear that Baby Blue shirt again Bobby. To crabby Coy - I hope you get what you need (hint hint Debbie) to bring a smile with you to the National!  I think we were up to 5 trailer blowouts for the trip (none for the Rodgers...knock on wood). The horse is "finally" dead but not forgotten. Matt - one word - SUNSCREEN - use it! Dave little buddie - was that shower cold?  Joe and Terri - THANK YOU!

    See yall at the National!

We sure had a great time at the Fling.  It was really nice meeting you all.

Thanks to Joe and Terri (and anyone else who worked to cover the details of the Fling) for their work in making it all happen.

It was great to get out on the water for a few days!  Couldn't ask for a better group of people to run with!

    Re: Post Spring Fling

Hey All, sorry so late jumping in here, been playing catch up and get ahead all week so I can leave Sunday with some peace of mind. Anyway, man what a time. The weather held off, for the most part, killer evening light shows!!

Terri and I had a great time putting this together. Ed thanks for your help and info. Also Matt you're hired whenever I need a burger chef, where'd you learn to cook like that, Mickey D's?? Dave, just a little inside info, if you had let me have that worst poker hand I would have split it with you!!  Seriously Thanks to all that helped. I hope nobody minded the extremely laid back format this year. As far as Terri & I go, it doesn't matter what we do. It's hanging with the gang and adding new members that makes these things what they are. Gotta thank Bud's Place for their continued support. Especially with them coming to the rescue this year, but that's another story I'll leave to the recipient. I don't know if they get on here but thank you's also need to go to Eric & Sheri Atkinson at Skyline.

I know I've missed a lot here but I could go on forever so I'll just sign off with one more thank yo uto everyone who attended. You are what makes these so awesome!!!!!!

Hope to see most of you at the Rock and in the fall!!!!
