    Awesome Job Planning Team!!!

Okay, so we got home around 3:30pm from dropping off the boat, cut grass, and dug into a nice pizza...sat down and realized that my wife and I don't have plans for the evening...huh, I thought...kind of nice, but also a let down knowing that we won't be getting 5 hours (or less) of sleep again and then taking out our boat on a bee-yoo-tee-ful lake and hanging out with friends...

Before this becomes a long ramble, special thanks to the Depperman, O'Neil, McCalley (spelling?) families as well as the folks at Crownline (particularly Mr. Duff), and all of the volunteers for making this recent "unofficial" get together simply....AWESOME.  Hello to all our new friends as well as our friends who seem to just get better with age!  LOL

Already looking forward to seeing you all soon!

    Re: Awesome Job Planning Team!!!

Thanks everyone for all your hard work. My family had a great time. My brother-n-law wants very badly to trade his boat for a crown which would be great because his crew made a mess of my boat. He didnt realize how much fun owning a Crownline is. Thanks again to everyone who made this rally possible and if you guys ever need help in the future with one id be more than happy to help.

    Re: Awesome Job Planning Team!!!

Thank you, thank you, thank you, everyone that put together an awesome Rally.  The Depperman's, O'Neil's, McCalley's, Crownline (Jim Duff and the crew), Walt's Boats, Ozark Trophy, Mercury, SilkWorm, What's Up Dock, and all of the Poker Run Stop sponsors, created a week that was a blast!!  These events are the highlight of our summer!

It was great catching up with the many friends we have made over the years and meeting a BUNCH of new friends.  As always, it is sad to see it end so quickly.

We look forward to seeing everyone soon!

WOW - What a rally.  After a 10 hour drive and plenty of time to think about the rally it was truly a great event again.  I can't stress enough how well everything went and so a HUGE thanks goes out to all the planners, sponsers, vendors and everyone who attended.

We got to see all of our friends and met plenty of more.  Every year we get closer to the friends we have already known and it only gets better when we meet other Crownies.  I hope everyone has a great summer on the water.  Hope to see you all next year !!

    Re: Awesome Job Planning Team!!!

We also had a great time!  I am not sure that I have ever met a better group of people.  Thanks planners for all the hard work.

In addition to Monte and Carmen, We also had two other Crownies, who were not towing a boat, pass us and give us the thumbs up.  Both were sporting Team Crownline decals.

Can anyone suggest a common place where we can all post the pictures that we took?  Maybe Snapfish?

I too, had a great time!  Thank you to the Rally planners for all the hard work and time they spent putting this event together! None of this would have been possible without volunteers like these. THANK YOU GUYS!!!!!    Also a big thanks to Doug, Jason, and the crew at Silkworm for all the support they provide; and,  THANK YOU to all who attended! I hope to seel you all next year!     I'll create a 2008 Rally photo album in the Photo section. If you would like your photos posted, please email them to me at teamcrownline@gmail.com    be sure to mention they are for the Rally album.

    Re: Awesome Job Planning Team!!!

Special shout out to all the people who helped with the 2008 Unofficial Crowndezvous, absolutely outstanding. Joyce and I had the best time ever. It would be nice if Crownline would put together a short video of the event and gave people a chance to obtain a copy. They should have plenty of footage to choose from. Again thanks to all the people that put this event together. It’s great to be a part of Team Crownline, what a nice bunch of folks.

A special thanks to all those involved.  As usual, a job very well done.  I'm pretty sure I have a future Crownie on my hands.  My 5 year old said his favorite things were the tie-ups.

As first time Rally Attendees, my wife and I cannot express enough thanks to all of you who put in the time to make the event such a success and welcome us into the crownline 'family'.  We had an amazing time and met some wonderful people!  Thanks to all for making our first rally one we'll never forget!!

    Re: Awesome Job Planning Team!!!

Maybe if we ALL ask nicely for a video of the rally, it might happen? Crownline does listen to It’s customers and that’s why it’s such a great boat.

    Re: Awesome Job Planning Team!!!

We just got home today about 2:30pm after an 8hr drive and I had to jump on the computer and read the comments.

I can't even begin to thank everyone who needs thanking but to everyone who was involved in the planning of this event, my hat is off to you.  This was our first rally and we were so impressed with the organization and events.  Most of all the people that we met were people we will not forget.  I wish we could have met everyone!!  We are ready for the next one.   It was really helpful seeing pictures of avatar's and meeting those individual's and being able to remember names.  Great Rally!!

Kerry...you need to change your avatar.  You still don't look like that. LOL

I would be interested in the video as well.

    Re: Awesome Job Planning Team!!!

I too agree about the video...and...would like to suggest that Crownline consider posting and then selling to us the jpg files from the pictures taken by the video/film crew.  We had the honor of riding close to Mr. Depperman during the poker run and I noticed that the photographer took (what I hope are) great action shots of our boat on the water....I would love to buy some pictures of our boat underway!!!  Selling the pictures might help off-set the cost of the crew...use the shots in the commercials/print ads...AND sell them to us!!!

    Re: Awesome Job Planning Team!!!

I agree with everyone that this was another fantastic rally.  My hat goes off to all who were involved with the planning and execution of this rally, it was truly a fabulous event!!  We had two people ride with us (Jim and Wanda) who had never boated with us or been remotely associated with an event such as this and my wife called me a short time ago to say that Wanda is now wanting to buy a boat.  I hope the videos and pictures are as equally successful for Crownline in their sales efforts!!

I look forward to the next rally and continuing to meet more and more people who share this love for boating and hopefully meeting those people who we didn't get a chance to meet this time.
