Crownies are the Best... Thanks Guys

It's hard to miss the festivities this weekend, and I hope everyone is safe on TR.

Most of you, who know me.... know me.

This year was tough, for me and especially my family.  We will retrieve the boat this weekend, and get'er cleaned up as best I can for a July trip.  My back surgery put me out of business and recent diagnosis of MS, really was a downer coupled with the recovery of the Lumbar Fusion Surgery.

Unbeknown to me, my cousin included you guys in an MS Fundraiser on my behalf.  When i first went to the page i couldn't figure out, how this guy had so many mutual freinds.  Pounds, Mars, Rodgers, Lanes, Canavan's, Stephens... then all the other "Crownies" in the names... "I gotta meet this guy Sheehan, he must have a Crownline" I thought to myself... then like a big gullable goof, I put the connection together.

    You guys rock... (the boat)

I'm recovering from the latest hospitalization and my left leg is nearly 100%.  Thanks for the support everyone... I'm still a little shocked.

My college racing buddies are encouraging me to get recovered and in shape by the MS150 in Columbia, MO.  One is coming from California to ride and camp.  If anyone is interested, let me know... we'll have a team with open enrollment.  It's a great way to turn this thing into a positive...

Thanks to all, I know little more as the lights came on slowly for me in this whole deal... I must have a dimmer switch for a idea's rather than on/off type.  LOL

We have team in the Gateway Getaway called, Rod's Hairy TOADS (Team of Amiable Supporters).  I credit you guys for being supporters already.  If by chance you or someone new wants to be a part of this team, ride with me, camp out, make donation or be a Virtual Rider, etc feel free... Hairy TOADS

Kerry - This is not a race, rather a ride on Sat/Sun.  Choice of 100, 75 and 40 mile loops.  Everyone is a winner!!! My racing days are past.  Thus I've Hairy Legs and little extra poundage for the downhills... LOL
