    Your boat name

Hi, For those that want to share the name of their boat, please do so! A lot of you use the name of your boat in your signature allready, but I figured an overview would be nice...

    NIC O SEA YA

I think somebody on the forum came up with it when we bought our new boat.  It's obviously a play on our last name.  Sometimes people don't get it though because the O on the back of the boat is a life saver.

TYPE-A - it's my personality, although now with 2 kids I've loosened up a bit and now I'm more of an A-minus.

The idea to name the boat TYPE-A came from our friends because at the time we had a 22' pontoon boat that could top out at 25mph and our friends thought it was funny that a guy like me (type-a personality) owned a pontoon boat and not something faster.

    Re: Your boat name

Hi, Stefan. Ours is "Black Pearl." No, it's not all that original, but we have 11-month-old twins, so we're too worn out to be original!

We're big fans of the Pirates of the Caribbean movies and the Disney World POTC ride, so it worked. Plus, Black Pearl was the only name to get the OK from my seven-year-old daughter, and now my son, Jack, can be called (altogether now) "Captain Jack."

Stefan - "Parents Gone Wild" - Our daughter named our boat after coming home from med school and seeing us party every weekend on the our newly purchased water toy/floating cabin!  Now they ask why we didn't do this when they were growing up!  I say, "When the kids are away, the parents will play!"

    Re: Your boat name

My first Crownline was CON-SEA-TED named after me because I'm absolutely handsome and some of my other  good qualities include vain and self centeredness. Than I remarried and bought a new boat 275 and found out that my new wife was just as conceited as me so the new name is 2 CONSEATED

    Re: Your boat name

Hi Stefan,  Our boat is named "Pat's Den".  It is a part of both of our names (Denny and Pat), and like a den in a home, is a place to get away from it all.

    Re: Your boat name

To start, you have to know that My Cousin Vinny is the funniest movie of all time (in our humble opinion).

Our first Crownline (202BR) was "Sac-O-Suds", the name of the convenience store in My Cousin Vinny where the clerk was shot. We also figured that with so many cupholders on the boat, and the association with beer (ie "suds"), the name was a natural.

We're both a little older now but still love the movie.  Our 266CCR is "Two Yutes" - [remember Fred Gwynn responding to Joe Pesci's pronounciation of "Two Youths"].  I guess neither one of us can be classified as a "Yute" anymore (at least chronologically), but you're as young as you feel so Connie and I are "Two Yutes".
