What do I have to look forward to?

Hello all, New member here, you can see my first post in the "new members" forum.

Anyhow, we've put our 225BR in El Dorado lake about 6 times this season (picked it up a little over a month ago).... This is about the farthest my boating experiences go.  I really like eldorado, but what can I expect of other lakes?  (Table Rock, Kaw, Marion, Etc...)  Any good suggestions?  I'm pretty sure we're going to spend memorial day weekend in shell knob, but that's still half a year away... LOL

I will say this, I wish we'd have gotten this thing sooner... it was like a tease being able to go for a good month then having to pack it away for winter :(

Never been to any of the lakes you reference Steve other than Table Rock.  You'll love Table Rock!  It's a great lake.  The 2008 National Crownline Rally is there next June.  You should definitely join in on that!

    Welcome Steve!

Table Rock is a great lake!  You need to attend the Rally next June.  It is truly a great experience!  I understand the winter thing....we have one weekend remaining.

Re: What do I have to look forward to?

Hey, Steve, I think this is the first time I have seen someone from Wichita on this site besides me. In the past we have spend a lot of weekends at El Dorado lake. However, this past summer we spent most of our lake weekends at Cheney Res. We live on the west side, so it's a lot closer. All the trees in the water at El Dorado can be scary. You need to be on the watch and know the places to avoid. We had a great time at the rally at Table Rock last year and we have made our reservations for the National rally there this year. You absolutely must get in on this !!!!!! Kaw is a nice lake. We have been camping/boating there a few times. I have not been to Marion, however, I met some fellow Crownies at a little mini rally at Clinton lake, who really like Marion. Look forward to hearing from you until we can meet on the water. Welcome to the Crownline family !!!!
