Just bought an 05 240EX with 5.0 and bravo 3. Can any one tell me what to expect in the way of performance and handling ?

I don't know how it will handle with the 5.0.  I have the 350Mag with the B3 and I love it  quick to plane and enough power to put in a nice tight turn.  Being a Deck boat you will find it is just a bit rough on rough water but  I had mine out on lake MI last year for the Chicago Loop Cruise and did fine, I had to go just a little slower and that gave me the opportunity to see Chicago from the lake side and take about 100 pictures.  I think you will enjoy the wider style of the deck boat I know I do and tieups are great.  Good luck with your new ride and if you have any questions I will try to answer them for you.

We spent a ton of time on our 240 last summer and had a ball. Great boat for looks, room and ride with alot of the little extra's.   Congrats.

That's great to hear.  I just got my 240EX back from the marina last evening from getting it summerized.  (LONG STORY)  Going to try to get it cleaned up and all nice and shiny for the LOOP CRUISE.  It is great to hear that others with a 240EX are enjoying theres as much as I enjoy mine.
