Help! Selling my 262CR and I need some advice

I have a 2001 262CR that I'm highly motivated to sell, but before I can put it on the market, I will need to get a new full canvas. The current one is shot. I suppose I could sell it without the canvas, but I assume that most people would prefer a good quality canvas already attached. What's the best (and most reasonable) way to get a canvas for it. I'm sure a marina would be the most expensive way to go. I would consider a used canvas if it were in good enough condition, but I don't want to have to worry about an unhappy buyer after the sale, so quality is important.

When you say full canvas are you talking about the enclosure canvas stuff with the eisenglass windows and such?  If so, I would say your best bet is getting something custom made by a canvas shop.  Even if you were to "buy" a used set, they are all custom fitted to the boats at the factory so it more than likely wouldn't fit either way.

You are going to pay money to get one custom made but that's probably you're only option.  Other option is just to drop the price a little and not offer the full canvas enclosure.  Let the next guy worry about it.

Boats are "As Is" in the used market.  Make sure that is stated up frontalong with the canvas being in bad condition and there should be no dissapointment.

I think you are right. I can just put it up for sale with no canvas and we can negotiate the canvas or lack thereof into the sales price. Plus it will be quicker than waiting to get the canvas made up and installed by someone. Thanks.

Boaters world is running a half off sale in their stores. I got a new one for my 225 BR.  If they do not have your size they will check all their stores nation wide and ship it at NO extra cost.  I only paid $137
