Last summer on a trip to Northern Maine I got into some rocks and the end result was that I had to have a new seal kit put into my lower unit, and also have my prop re-pitched. My 1997 182 has a 3.0 Merc. My boat is in my garage right now while I am buffing out the hull and waxing, etc..I have noticed a small lube leak right above the flange where the lower and upper unit come together. There is a 1/4" hole right above the flange that I have seen some oil come out of. I am worried now that I have another leak. Any thoughts?

Glen,

You may have a leak that wasn't detected when the seal kit was put in.  I would take it to whom ever did the seal kit and have them take a look.  I would think that they would have noticed the lead when they tested the outdrive.
