    HELLO!

JUST WANT TO INTRODUCE MYSELF.  I JUST BOUGHT MY FIRST BOAT 03 CROWNLINE 192.  YOU GUYS LOOK LIKE A FUN BUNCH.  ANY ADVICE, DO'S & DONT'S FOR THE FIRST TIME BOAT OWNER?

I LOOK FORWARD TO TAKING OUT FOR THE FIRST TIME THIS WEEKEND.

     LAN.

    Re: HELLO!

Welcome Lan!  Good to have you aboard.  As for do's and dont's, there's lots of them but the best starter advice is take your time, don't get hurried.  It gets a little insane at the ramps sometimes...just take a breath.  Much to learn and you will.  Ask away as you have questions.

Congratulations & Welcome aboard, Lan.  Cool  +1 with Mike's comments -- take your time and ask lots of questions.  We were all 1st time boaters at one time!

    Re: HELLO!

Congrats Lan!!!  To go along with Mike and Rick's advice, when approaching a dock go no faster than you are willing to hit it.  You'll see seasoned pro's manuever boats in a way that will make you jealous, but that's usually years of experience your witnessing or one lucky SOB.  In the meantime until you've earned your salt, take it nice and easy.

Thanks everyone for the advice.  Are there any good websites that I can get aftermarket accessories for the boat?'

    Have a great weekend!

    Re: HELLO!

Welcome aboard, Lan.   Where will you be doing most of your boating?   Also depending on the type of accessory you're looking for, you can try defender (defender.com), or overtons (overtons.com).  Both have a pretty big selection and their prices are reasonable.
