    Fire works show?

Hey, does anyone know of any good fireworks shows on the upper bay?  Maybe from Annapolis north, (more towards north though)..

    Re: Fire works show?

The 4th of july on Middle river has a great display.  It probably lasts 30 minutes and there are no fewer than 1000 boats there.  definately worth going to.  There are usually a few crownies rafted up for them as well.  I doubt I will make it out this year for them, but I am sure others will chime in.  Heck, at the pace I am going, only out 2x so far, I just hope to get out anytime....

Havre De Grace has a unbelievable fireworks show right at the yacht basin, it goes on forever and is top notch. They also have a carnival every year at the same place and time. You will not be dissapointed.

The Middle River Fireworks are always great.  This year they're scheduled for Saturday July 5th.  If you don't want to get stuck in a crowd, you might want to get there early and spend the day rafted up - then enjoy the fireworks at night.  I'll be rafted up in Frog Mortar Creek just off of Middle River across from Long Beach Marina.  It's a nice sandy spot to swim and a good vantage point for the fireworks.  Any other Crownies interested in rafting up that day?

    Bill,

We will be there...we are going to be downtown on the 4th and then on the 5th in Middle River.  We usually are between the Marine Police Pier and Strawberry point, tucked in close to shore....that way we can walk a stern anchor in.

    Henry,

Which one of your yachts will you be taking?  We'll look for you when we raft up.  Will you be staying the night?

    Bill,

We will be in the blue one...the other is still on the hard.

Yeah we will be spending the night, no sense trying to go back up the river and dock with 1,000 other well lubricated yahoooos.

My thoughts exactly Henry.  Speaking of Diamonds, friends of mine may be looking to trade up and they should be there for the fireworks so bring your sales pitch.  I can't wait to see your mega yacht.
