    Hey Robert,

We go to Canyon Lake all the time and will be out there tomorrow.  We normally hangout in a cove down the Tom's Creek arm.  We are in an Amythest 236LS named Carrying On!  Flag us down if you see us and we'll share a cold one.

Yep, we live in SA.  We are lucky though that my parents have a house in Sattler and they can't stand the summer heat so we have a house and boat parking for the summer!  We'll keep an eye out for you!

Hey did not see you out there! We went after the rain passed. The water was AMAZING!! Glass all over the lake. I burned about 40 gallons back and forth across the lake

We were out before and during the rain.  We were all too cold to stay out after the storm passed so we put it on the trailer and headed for land.  I'll try to get on here and give you a heads up next time we plan on being out.  Wont be until after the 4th though.  Until next time!

Re: Any Canyon or Medina Lake Boaters (San Antonio)?

    Hey Robert,

I am the "New Guy" on this site. I have been boating Canyon and Medina Lakes all my life. I currently keep my new Crown stored at Canyon. My Dad has a house on the South side near the Dam so this is the Lake of choice for my family. I think I have seen you in your boat on Canyon a time or two. I have a new 2007 left over year model 23SS that I just purchased in June from Austin Boat & Motors. I recently removed all the razor graphics, removed all the crownline name decals, and tinted the windows to go with the "Stealth Look". I had the dealership add the ss docking lights and side through exhaust to get this boat just the way it would have been if I would have had it built to order.

The 23SS makes for my 3rd Crown purchase. I started in 1993 w/ a 182BR, then graduated to a 266BR in 1999. I sold the 266 when my daughter was born 8 years ago, but I had to keep it in the family. My brother now has it on an air lift at Emerald Point Marina on Lake Travis. I use that 266 during my visits to Austin to cut through the BIG CHOP on Travis and revert back to my new 23SS for the small stuff on Canyon.

You and I will need to hook up for a Cold One on Canyon. I am interested in your ideas on stereo mods for my 23SS which has the factory forward facing tower and integrated bimini top. I will look for you in the cove.

     Always Lake Bound,

     Glenn

    Glenn:

Hey hope to see you out there! . . .  I will look for an all white boat, tinted windows and a kewl looking tower. I wish I could find a tower for my boat! I want something that wont' require lots of surgery.  Anyhow yea, if you are on Canyon at all you probably see us out there quite a bit. We frequent that place too often!  We are planning a trip to Medina pretty soon. Last time we were there the water was SOOO low . . .  then again, Canyon is way down, the stumps or should I say Oaks are "growing" like crazy! Some of my favorite ski spots are now orchards.

    See you on the lake!

    Robert,

It was good meeting you and your wife as well. Your boat is sharp and that stereo ROCKS! After hearing your music from a cove away, I am now saving my coin for a system install that is some where in the range of at least half as loud as yours!

Well, it finally rained today, maybe Canyon Lake will hold enough of it to come up a few feet and keep the boat ramps open. We at least need enough water to last us through September. I plan to head back out there on Saturday if weather is good so keep an eye out for me.

    See ya on the water....
