My trailer (not a Prestige) does the same thing for my 180 BR. I've decided it's due to the fact that the weight of the boat and trailer are at the bottom end of the load range for disc brakes. I read somewhere that disc brakes were for 3,000 lbs and up. I think the vibration is due to the brakes stopping the trailer too well at light loads. So, when you brake lightly, the actuater gets a small load. This actuates the brakes, which removes the load from the tongue. This releases the brakes, which causes load on the actuator again. I think it's a viscious cycle, which causes pulsation. When you brake harder, the pulsation goes away because the discs don't overcompensate. That's my theory, and it's just that, a theory. If it was warped rotors, the vibration would also be there during heavier braking.
Please let us know if you find a problem with the system, since it appears many of us have the same issue.
As far as tightening the bearing nut, don't do that without knowing the proper procedure. You have to tighten it to a certain torque, then back it off a little. (Don't remember the actual numbers.)
