is anybody in need of a factory swimplatform. i bought on hopeing it would fit .i am looking for one to fit a 97 225br

They will make you a platform specific for you model...many here have them on their 225BR as you can see "Miss Big Dog" which is a 225BR.

Not sure you are going to have much luck selling that platform since they are standard on the 236LS and everyone already has one.  I take it there is no option to return it?

I second swimplatforms.com  I have installed 4 of them including my own.  Best mod to the boat yet........

One question, if you bought a factory platform for your boat, why doesn't it fit???

I think he is saying he has a 97 225BR and it did not come with a platform.  So he purchased or came across one for a 236LS hoping it would fit but it doesn't.

 If you can't get rid of it I'll take it off your hands.  Can't hurt having a spare!

Yeah...I could use a spare...they are pretty tough though.  I backed mine into the corner my my garage and broke off some stucco, but the platform just has a minor crack in the gel!

If it is the one I remember, it was not for a 236ls.The guy had it listed to fit a 236, but I did some research and it was not for the 236. Is this the one missing the ladder?

yes is missing the ladder,ladder lid and crome plugs. it came from ofallon missouri. what do you think it came off of? it close to fitting on my boat but im afraid if i modify it i will lose strength in it . it also has the supports

I emailed this guy a few times and he was really not sure what model it came from. I remember searching and looking at other crownlines to see if this platform matched up. I tried to find my email that contained the model,  but I think I used the ebay message system and it is gone now. If anyone is really interested they can go online and look at other crownline boats. If I remember 236s do not have wrap around platforms. . . .I did find some pics of the platform. Here you go guys.

Yeah, that's definitely not a platform for a 230BR or 236LS (same boat, but they did have a revised swimplatform).  The platform shown with the wrap-around style looks like it was made for the newer Crownline hull such as a 230EX/240EX or similar

hey thanks for all the info . i just got back from vacation at the lake. i also check my email  with the guy he said it was from a 236ls i dont know if that is right or not. but i would like to get rid of it. if i could get 200 for it i would be happy.
