    Trailer Spare

This may be a stupid question, but what's the easiest way to figure out what bolt pattern and such I'm going to need for a spare?

    Thanks in advance

    Re: Trailer Spare

For some reason a Ford bolt pattern seems to be very common for boat trailer wheels.  I know the rims on my Prestige trailer are identical to what Ford had available at one time on their Ford Ranger--I am pretty sure they were made by American Racing.

    Re: Trailer Spare

Being a betting man, I would guess that your location, combined with the make and model of the boat, you most likely have a Prestige. Regardless though, your trailer should have 5 lug bolts per tire assembly and with almost all trailer companies, this would be a 5 on 4.5" Ford bolt pattern.
