    Ipod Mounting Options-260 LS 2006

First, thanks to everyone for their input on connecting an Ipod to my Sony stereo.  I just ordered the PAC cable to connect the Ipod through the BUS connecter intended for the CD changer.   Based on everyone's comments I am confident this will work, enabling me to get rid of the bothersome FM transmitter.

Now I just need to figure out the best way to mount the Ipod (80G classic video) at the helm station where I can easily access the Ipod function controls.  What have others used?  Any suggestions on what to buy and where to buy would be greatly appreciated.

I have used the ProClip in my Yukon for my cell phone.   http://www.proclipusa.com/Default.asp  They make all kinds of mounts for all types of devices.  The only thing I would caution is that the iPod has a hard drive in it and I wouldn't leave it in the sun as it could warp the disc.  I think the heat and potential to get splashed would be a good reason to keep it tucked away most of the time.
