    Windshield Exchange

I would like to exchange the stock windshield for the "lower" profile windshield.  Anyone have any ideas on the cost of such a venture?  Would you just go back to the dealer, or do you folks know of a better place/way?  God Bless.

    Marshal,

The 202BR had the option of the low profile (LPX upgrade) windshield and your best bet is to go to your dealer for a cost.  This may not even be practical depending on the price, that will depend on how badly you want the option.  I am not sure how much the low profile windshield is for sure.  You would need to talk to the dealer.  I know of no after market shops that have a low profile that will swap out with the current windshield on your boat.

    Best of luck.

    Re: Windshield Exchange

Thanks Kerry.  I did call the dealer where I bought the boat and they gave me an "estimate" of $600.  They won't swap out and give you any credit for your exchange...which doesn't have a scratch on it!! LOL  Anyway, they said that it could be done, however, it is very difficult to get the holes to line up.  I should have taken the option when I bought the boat...but the misses had spent enough money at that point.  I am a tall guy and the existing windshield's top edge is right in my line of view.  I could sit up in the seat bolster..but that makes me really sit up high out of the boat.
