    Anchor MIA

We have a 2001 Crownline 212BD. We lost our bow anchor & need to purchase a replacement. I have not been able to find the right size at Bass Pro. Any suggestions on the type, size & weight anchor needed, & where I can purchase it in the DFW area?

    Thanks,
    Sylvana

    Sylvana,

Do you have a West Marine near you?  What kind of anchor was it?  Was it a Danforth? a Mushroom?  I have a #14 Danforth style anchor for my 180BR and it is more than enough anchor for my boat.  Any local marina in your area should carry a wide selection of anchors as well.  Check them out and I bet they would have one that will work for you.

    Happy Boating
