    What trailer will work?

I'm looking to buy a new or used trailer (preferably used) for my 2008 270br.  I've heard that a Prestige trailer for the 266 might also work.  Does anyone have experience with those two models, enough to know for sure what trailers I should look for?

You will hear alot of people recommend Prestige.  They are not only great trailers, but they have some great people working for them.  I have never owned one but from what I have heard Prestige is the way to go.

    Hey Andy,

Our trailer for a CL 266 is 6" shorter than the one we build for the 270 BR. This means that as much as 6" of the stern will hang off the rear of the bunks. The axle placement is the same, so tongue weight should be OK. The winch post on the 266 trailer is 2" taller that the one on the 270. This could work just fine, depending on how much verticle adjsutment we left in the 270. Worse case scenario will be you ordering a new base assembly for the winch post.

The other two variables you will need to allow for is bunk placement and the difference in deadrises. Clear as mud.

I am off to Michigan for the week on business and my lap top is in the shop, so I will follow up next week on any questions you may have. Or you can call the plant and ask for Bobby V.

I have a 1986 E-Z Loader trailer for sale.  We had a 250CR CrownLine on it until last month. It has a little rust on it but it is still sound.  Brakes redone within the last year.  Tires are very good. Three to five years old.  Trailer is located in Florida. I can send photos if anyone is interested.
