    Replacement seat cover for 270CR

Hi, the rear facing lounger on my CR270 has started to crack at the bottom.  The boat is only 4 years old maufactured in 2005, so the fabric hasnt lasted as long as I would have liked.  It appears that when I have had the cockpit cover up and not the full covers water has got into the seat base and has rotted the fabric.

Does anyone know if the fabric has a warranty period on it, if not has anyone taken this seat off before to have it recovered, I cant see how it is attached.

    Thanks

    Steve

    Steve,

You may just need to take it to a local canvas shop for repair.  Will your dealer take a look at it?  I don't remember how long the warranty period is with the seats.  Check with your dealer first, if they can't help you, then ask them for a name of a reputable canvas shop in the area.  Given the state of CL, even if it is under warranty, you may not be able to get warranty work done on it.  I wish I had better news.

    Good Luck.

Seat warranty was 5 years. I need some repair on a couple of seams on my back motor lid, but at this time, I am not feeling optomistic that it will be covered under the current status of Crownline. Good luck.
