Hi All,

 

Anyone cut holes in the bow to install speakers? I'm thinking of adding 2 more in the front between the grab handle and the bows center back cushion, not interested in having them under the seats, really would want them high. I've reached up with my hand and seems to be plenty of space, but there also seems to be some large plywood that would have to be cut into  (to reinforce maybe the handle??) just wonder if anyone has completed and/or if doable.

Hello Everyone I am a new Crownline Owner as of July 3rd 2009. I bought a New to me 2004 Crownline 180Br non Sport with the 3.0L. This is a nice boat and much nicer now that I have add several things like New Gauges, Carpet and a Bimini Top. I was reading and I saw some folks added speaker in the bow of the boat and I want to do that also. I just bought new speakers to replace the sonys that came with the boat and I was looking for some direction on how to add 2 more in the front. Here is my Question's. 1st is the speaker Wires already run around the front of the boat and if so what Color would they be so I know what I am looking at. 2nd If not what grade of speaker wire would you all recommend to run the new speakers. And Last What is the best way to cut the hole in the front of the boat. I can get a Hole saw to cut it but I don't want the Fiberglass to splinter or any weird thing like that. Also does anyone have any good pictures of During install to show what you all did. Thanks for your help
