    Carburetor for 1995 182BR 4.3L

    New Crowbnline owner here...

My 4.3L has a 4bbl carb.  I have throttle lag problem, almost a stall, when accelerating hard from idle or low speed.  Can someone tell me what model carb this engine has, so I can start looking at parts?

    Thanks

    Chuck

I'm not 100% sure, but I think it is a Carter design made by Webber. Two choices, Edelbrock makes Marine carbs, and may have a direct replacement. Holley does too, but it isn't the same style as you have now. Option #2 NAPA, should be able to hook you up with a rebuild kit. There may be an ID tag under one of the top screws with the number on it. Cheaper to rebuild, 100% less aggravation bolting on a new carb. All a matter of where your priorities are.

Thanks.  It turns out it is a Weber 9600.  I needed an accelerator pump.
