Hey Dean -  My 268 has a factory installed Cruisair system. I'll try to take some pics this weekend when we head over to our slip.

For now, I'll try to briefly describe the locations

The water circulating pump is installed directly in front of the head holding tank in the engine compartment. The seacock valve is installed directly next to the seacock valve for the toilet.

The compressor is located underneath the storage unit located directly aft to the head. The main control unit is mounted directly above the entrance to the aft cabin. The main A/C on/off switch is located with the other electrical switchs.

There are two vents. The first is located in the aft cabin on the starboard side and the second is in the main cabin on the starboard side.

Here is a link to a guy that posts on BABC who installed an A/C system in his Four Winns. Looks like a bit of a task.

    Ed,

Thanks for your help. After spending a muggy night in my boat, that was enough for me to start my research and due diligence.  I am very handy and mechically capable, so I am planning diy. I want to get an idea of how it was installed in our boats from factory.  I am looking forward to your pics.  Thanks again.

    Dean
