New York Boat Show, today 1-23-10

Just came back form the NY Boat Show at the Jacob Javitz Center. I never went before, so I can't tell you if it was busier/slower than usual. There were a few dealerships that brought Crownline boats to the show, but not the manufacturer itself. However, there was a Crownline rep. there by the name of Gene Gooding, to whom I spoke with. He was quite engaging, and conveyed a very positive future for the company, and was very assuring that everything at Crownline is moving foward again. I asked him about getting parts; and he told me to just locate a dealership and have them order whatever I needed. Specifically, I asked him if I could order new racing flag decals for my '03 202BR LPX, and he told me yes. Also, I asked him about replacement snap-in carpets, and he told me yes as well. He also located the dealership closest to me. I am glad that I had a chance to talk to Gene, and that he made the time to talk to me and answer all of my questions.     Jon Buchak.

I hope that is the case.  However, we just purchased an '05 202BR and the dealer called Crownline (I inquired about bow filler cushions and replacement snap-in carpet) and they told him they could not get anything older than '07 with the new ownership of the company.  :(]
