    Re: Swim platforms

Gary you are correct there is only one choice. We put one on our 225 last year and it by far THE best $$ we could have spent. it added 1 1/2 feet to our boat and it's like adding 10 because that's where the kids head for as soon as we drop anchor, which leave the rest of the boat to me. hehe  i'll try to find a pic to post.  not a real good close-up i'll keep looking.

    Re: Swim platforms

Lamont, I am thinking about ordering one also. Let's see if we can get a deal. Maybe they will give us a break on shipping since we are in the same city. Are you planning on installing it yourself? I have talked to Crestview Marine about an install.

    Lamont & Rick,

Swimplatforms.com are the only way to go IMO. Great customer service after the sale and will do anything to help you. I've installed two of their products the first being on our 202BR crownline and the second being on our 266LTD. With a couple of friends this can be done in a few hours. You can also get the swimplatform two-tone to match both colors of your boat, and they also have the correct rubrail.

    Re: Swim platforms

I requested a quote last week and was quite pleased with the product and price. I'll be ordering mine next week before the rush comes. Very nice looking platforms!

    Re: Swim platforms

Lamont, I put on on last spring from them. You can do the install yourself if you have the nerve to drill the holes. Good thing is that only 4 are below water line and they do not go all the way through the transom.

Rick,,You don't need anyone to do it for you...drill away,,they sell fiberglass repair kits if you goof up.

well that explains it then  any way we spent the extra $$ and got the 2 tone to match and glad we did. With the wide stripe on our boat it looks really great
