  • 180 BR w/4.3L MPI Prop Question

    I bought my dream boat recently, a 2006 180BR w/the 4.3LMPI with solid ruby gel coat, checkered flag decals, black helm and only 35 hours.  The boat cruises very vell.  However, that is not why I bought it.  This boat is strictly used for water sports.   Here lies my problem, I can't pull a 185lb skier out of the water ...

  • Re-commissioning

    When I took my boat in last year for winterizing, the dealer said they would re-commission it for free in the spring. When I called to make an appointment, they said all I need to do is charge the battery and go boating. They said it will smoke a little burning the fogging oil out, but other than that I’m good. Is that really all there is to it? ...

  • Engine heats up

    I have a '05 180 BR / Volvo 3L. Tons of bad luck this year. Burnt the engine when I put it in, faulty water pump. Got the engine re-built. More problems with heating as they were finding pieces of the water pump in the cooling system afterwards.
